About Me

I am a scientist interested in solving real world problems and making an impact through consulting. I have 10 years of research experience in multiple biological areas including expertise in brain tumors. Additionally, I have consulted for 3+ companies in US/Canada in various sectors on market entry/expansion strategies.

After completing my Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Cancer Biology) at the University of Toledo in Ohio, I specialized in investigating brain tumors as a postdoctoral fellow at Case Western Reserve University and Johns Hopkins University. I am currently a junior research faculty at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and working on developing therapies for pediatric brain tumors. In these roles, I have designed and performed research on several projects leading to substantial funding and journal publications. I have also presented in multiple national and international conferences, won competitive awards and trained 11+ students.

Due to my interest in business, I have worked and held leadership positions on multi-member teams in pro-bono consulting projects leading to positive feedback from the clients. Specifically, I have consulted for market entry of a CPG, US expansion of a top 50 company international company in the transportation as a service (TaaS) sector, and advised an entrepreneur on streamlining business goals and operations. I have also led a team to a top 5 finalist position in a healthcare case competition. I am currently working with a client in the technology sector in artificial intelligence.

In my free time, I am a food blogger and run my own cooking website cookandnibble.com. I am also passionate about fund raising for promoting education and health of children, and have contributed in multiple roles to various non-profit organizations.
